Our Low-E Silver window film or widely known Summer/ Winter Film has been designed to aid architects and builders in creating buildings which comply with energy efficiency standards. Low-e refers to the film’s low emissivity, which means that the film prevents much of a room’s radiant energy from absorbed by the window glass and being lost outside.
Summer/ Winter 20 lowers heat gain by up to 80% in summer and reduces indoor heat loss by up to 34% during winter when applied to the windows of a building.
Summer/ Winter 20 is especially suited to cooler areas and regions such as mountains. The need for energy efficient building materials has become more apparent with the increase in energy efficiency standards and the increase of global climate concerns.

The Low-E coating on Summer Winter 20 allows it to achieve a low U value during winter, helping minimise energy usage.
Additionally, virtually all UV radiation is blocked and glare is reduced so interior objects are protected from fading.
